Did you hear the song?
To put in practice the most important skill in English (listening), we are going to play a song: Wonderful World (Sam Cooke). The level of our class is 5th of Primary. It is a easy song to follow for them, so they must not have any problem with this exercise. As teacher, I have prepared the gaps of this song, adequating it for the level of our students.

Hi Jorge,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I want to say that the blog looks nice.
I really like this activity because it's motivating for the kids. The listenings are sometimes boring for them and kind of hard if they are not used to. A song can be easier if you choose the correct one. I'm sure that you did it. The accuracy of the song is perfect. First, for the topic and for that, the vocabulary. It's perfect for the kids to understand more or less and to learn the words that they don't know. The structures are kind of easy too and you can teach lots of things through the song. In addition, the activity that you made it's perfect to get used to the ear to the English language.
Definitely, I would use it with my kids in my class. Congratulations!!!!
